Where does your estate rentcharge go?
The estate rentcharge funds communal maintenance, management and future reserves, but the annual budget is only an estimate. We explain what the Hilltop Park TP1 allows the management company to recover, how charges should be reconciled with actual spending, and why the Residents’ Association is seeking clearer accounts, invoices and household calculations.

Hilltop Park has flooded three times in 18 months, a path keeps washing away and important questions about residents’ rentcharges remain unanswered. With Bloor indicating that residents could gain greater control from summer 2027, these are the issues we believe need action now.
We're crowdfunding! Support your RA
Hilltop Park Residents’ Association has launched a Crowdfunder to support newsletters, consultations, digital services, specialist advice and future resident involvement in estate management. A suggested donation of £10 per household could raise almost £5,000, helping us build on achievements that already include water bill and rent charge budget savings worth around £18,000+ a year across the estate.

Hilltop Park Residents’ Association is an independent, volunteer-led group run by residents, with support from local councillors, Wiltshire Council and Residents First CIC. We bring neighbours together, represent shared concerns and work towards transparent estate management, proper completion of Hilltop Park and meaningful resident influence over its future.

What we've achieved together in our first year
Our July newsletter is out — £4,000 removed from the rent charge, a new MUGA safety cage, a safer play surface, and a seat at the table with the council and developers.
