What we've achieved together in our first year
Thanks to your support, the association has made real progress in its first year. Some of the highlights:
- £4,000 removed from the estate rent charge after we challenged elements of the estate budget.
- A new safety cage around the MUGA and an improved play park pathway, secured by working with our partners.
- The Estate Steering Group established, bringing residents together with Wiltshire Council, Bloor Homes, FirstPort and our Ward Councillors — a regular forum where issues are raised and solved instead of shouting from the sidelines.
- Hundreds of households represented across Hilltop Park.
The full story — including where we stand on open space handover, service charges, flooding and the other issues we're pressing on — is in the July 2026 newsletter. You can follow every issue we're tracking, with its current status, on the Estate Issues tracker.
Every improvement we've secured started with residents raising issues. If you'd like to add your voice, join the association.
